About Us

Hi, my name is Gail Bottomley.

My husband, Gary and I have been in business in the Waikato / Bay Of Plenty area for 15 years. We have owned a number of Business's one you maybe familiar with was called Millennium Technology, we sold them all off a few years ago now, however we still have one computer shop and that is called Easy Technology (formally Recycled Technology ) here in Hamilton. We also have another business called Sauna Solutions, a distribution business called, YBSick.net, and a mentoring business called BusinessOfChoice.com.

If you were to ask my friends about me they would say "She is the Café Queen. She knows every café from the Waikato to Orewa"
That maybe true, and we joke about it alot. Not that I am abscessed at all. I have been known to buy the Café Manual and then with my husband, go through it for the rest of the year visiting cafés mentioned in there and rating them with our own system. I also keep the Café manual right beside my drivers seat in my car.... What's obsessive about that.

I do enjoy a Great Coffee and visiting Cafés that look interesting and yes may even tell a story. Like the one in Matamata that has a coffin there in pride and place., and lots of transistor radio's all round the walls, known to us oldie's as tranny's. We do have some wonderful cafés and the good news you don't have to travel too far to get to one.

We started this business because of my love of coffee, I love the smell of it, the flavor of most of them, and I love the whole culture. We have a grand daughter who is almost 4, she has been going to Cafés now since her birth, now when I go to visit her she likes me to take her to a Café, she loves her fluffy. So this whole Café culture starts again in a new generation.

At Coffee At Your PLace we saw a market for Coffee Machines in business's. The cost to a business now days, as people leave in droves to go get their coffee fix at every Coffee break is costing companies many Thousands of dollars every year. We know what it has cost our different business's over the years, only it is so much worse now than then as staff expect to be able to go out. They expect good coffee, I think the instant coffee is on it's way out, have to say I have not let an instant coffee past these lips in 4 years....

After trying a number of machines and coffee brands I was satisfied and able to put my name and reputation on the line and go with the systems that we now have. I love the business it's exciting and challenging and amongest all I do I seek to serve the clients out there who have our machines. The Coffee Machine must work well for each company, there has to be a win/win or there is no point in us doing business. If a client is not happy , we will tear up the contract, then we will pick up the machine. If you are not completely happy then I am embarrassed to take your money, it's as simple as that.
